Haltya's debut album Forest Flavour 2001 got a lot of attention thanks to the original groovy sound. The new material continues on the same tracks as before with an even funkier sound on their new 12 Hero. This time the Haltya guys team up with the faboulus horns of Baabelin Torvet. Allways Ultra is, so far, one of the most straightforward tracks of Haltyas new material, enjoy the full funky beats. Hero is the grooviest Haltya track yet. Protest the Hero have completed a new album, which will be their first studio effort since 2013's Volition , according to a recent update from the band. Intervening years saw the Canadian prog-rockers bow out of both studio and live work after singer Rody Walker began suffering issues with his voice. It appears those hurdles have been cleared, however, as the outfit took to social media this week with an album update that includes a video preview of new music. Their debut studio album Forest Flavor, which came out in 2000, was highly acclaimed by psychedelic electronic music lovers around the world, introducing a new fresh approach to sound imagination at that time. Their musical style took influences from jazz, funk, trance, house, drum n bass and all sorts of other musical directions.
